"I was told by a Native American Indian friend when  I was a young girl that if a person found two Red-Tailed Hawk feathers at the same time from the same Hawk, it meant good luck. I found these two feathers at the stable. I named the bird Lady Hawk.

I see the lady everyday at the stable. If I don't see her, I hear her cry. She calls to me to let me know everything is going to be all right and she is ever watching over me.

I believe that God uses animals, birds, and nature to speak to our souls if only we can be still long enough to hear their silent words....."

A Lump Of Clay is the first of a series of books about people and animals of the Bible. The second book, Hamor: The Road To Jerusalem, scheduled for release in 2011 by Lady Hawk Press. The characters from book,  Lump Of Clay eventually become intertwined with those from Hamor to form an irresistible ensemble cast we continue to follow in the third and fourth books of the series.

It is Dr. Holliday's hope that these books can be used by God as an inspirational message to children and as a teaching tool for some of the basic principles in the Christian faith.
